Job description

Trusts & Foundations Manager - Disasters Emergency Committee (London) £40,560 per year - Full-time, 3-year Fixed Term Contract

Are you ready to make a global impact? Join the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) as our Trusts & Foundations Manager and help us raise millions for humanitarian crises worldwide!

This new role is key to our 2024-2029 strategy, increasing funds for both emergency appeals and our core costs. You'll be at the forefront of our fundraising efforts, ready to spring into action when disaster strikes.

What we offer:

  • Central London office location
  • Hybrid working options (circa 2 days a month in the office, full time during appeals, with travel and accommodation paid for during this time)
  • Opportunity to work with 15 leading UK aid charities
  • Chance to make a real difference in global humanitarian efforts

Your role as Trusts & Foundations Manager:

  • Lead strategic development of our trusts and foundations portfolio
  • Secure five and six-figure donations for emergency appeals
  • Develop compelling proposals and presentations
  • Manage relationships with high-profile funders

You'll excel in this role if you have:

  • Experience in securing large donations from trusts and foundations
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent writing and communication abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

At DEC, you'll be part of a dynamic team that's raised over £2.4 billion since 1963. Your work will directly support people affected by disasters and conflicts around the world.

We value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive workplace. Join us in our mission to save lives and protect livelihoods in times of crisis.

Want to use your fundraising skills to make a global difference? Apply now and be part of our life-saving work!

We want you to have every opportunity to demonstrate your skills, ability and potential; please contact us if you require any assistance or adjustment so that we can help with making the application process work for you.
