About The Felix Project
The Felix Project is London's biggest food redistribution charity and the largest end-to-end food redistribution charity in Europe.
Our vision is a London where no one goes hungry and good food is never wasted.
We rescue surplus food from businesses, supermarkets, restaurants and farms. This food is nutritious, in-date, and safe and includes a high proportion of fresh vegetables, fruit, meat and fish. If we did not rescue this food, it would be at risk of going to waste. Instead, we deliver it free of charge to London charities, schools, food banks, COVID food hubs and other organisations serving people in need. Our food is a vital lifeline for children and families, people on low incomes, people who have lost their jobs, the homeless, refugees, domestic abuse survivors, the elderly and keyworkers.
We were founded in 2016 in memory of Felix Byam Shaw, by his father, entrepreneur Justin Byam Shaw.
Purpose of the Job
Based for a minimum of 3 days per week in one of our operational warehouses you will help support Felix’s mission through the development of a network of charities, community groups and other key stakeholders involved supporting vulnerable Londoners across London. Your work will help to build the network’s capacity to accept and distribute food through our depot operations, Green Scheme & Felix Connect and non-food items through Felix’s Multibank.
Reporting to the Community Engagement Manager the Community Coordinator’s role will focus on Felix’s school holiday provision. You will be involved in the set-up, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of the different programmes throughout the year that provides more than 10 million meal equivalents to families across the 13-week school holidays. Developed from Felix’s regular food delivery models to operate at scale innovation has been part of the development of these programmes. As the Community Coordinator you will be expected to help drive the evolution of the provision and where relevant help deploy as part of our business-as-usual delivery.
You will support your peers, the depot and operational teams, responding to enquiries from the community network to help ensure the smooth flow of food and non-food items whilst delivering excellent customer service. This will include ensuring recipients of our food are compliant with all relevant legislation and guidance as required by our food partners and food business operators.
You will also help us to effectively monitor and evaluate our growth against our strategic objectives through robust data collection, monitoring and updating using our CRM system.

About the Role:
The Assessment Coordinator is the conduit for young people to access the youth accommodation pathway in Greenwich. As well as triage and intake, the role supports young people by navigating their journey either by facilitating their safe return home, or into longer term suitable supported accommodation.
You will provide specialist assessment and interventions for a designated caseload. You will provide mediation where needed and advise/ facilitate restorative work with the young person and their family.
About you:
- You have two years’ experience of assessing the needs of young people in a residential/ accommodation setting.
- Proven experience and skills in delivering casework and planned support for young people.
- A strong understanding and practical knowledge relating to issues that typically disrupt progress in journeys towards independence. E.g. mental health, substance use, self-harm, domestic violence, anger management etc
- Evidence an ability to navigate between and across specialties whilst working with clients to create a multi-agency support plan.
- The ability to work within systems and families, to enable young people (that can) to return home.

Job Purpose
The Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Coordinator position sits within the Research, Evidence and Learning team and will make a key contribution to the quality of our programmes. The post holder will keep abreast of state-of-the-art M&E approaches to ensure the use of technically appropriate monitoring and evaluation models and information systems. The post holder will support the design of new programmes as well as provide technical advice and input to the monitoring, evaluation and learning of existing programmes. The Coordinator will also play a crucial role in ensuring that our external communications and policy work (at all levels) are informed by and accurately represent our evidence base.
Design, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Lead the development of proposals from a MEL perspective, including contributing to and leading on theories of change, and the development of MEL frameworks. Design, lead and manage participatory processes to establish country programme MEL systems. Lead development of organisational tools and processes – e.g. developing reporting templates for project reports where not supplied by the donor Lead the development of quality programme standards and tools for their implementation. Advise on and support the building of an evidence base of impact. Support development of theories of change for development of strategic goals for Health Alliances. Support the development of indicators and monitoring of Alliance activity. Support the design and implementation of evaluations. Building MEL Capacity Provide hand-on technical assistance to teams in the monitoring, evaluation and review of existing projects. Support staff with development/use of MEL tools and processes. Provide input and assistance to MEL activities, including data collection and analysis, and evaluation design. Foster learning within programmes, through sharing lessons learnt, evaluation results as well as playing a key role in strengthening organisational learning. Through volunteer-led home visiting support, we provide emotional and practical support to parents and carers with young children facing challenges such as isolation, mental health difficulties and poverty. Home-Start London is an independent charity that connects and strengthens the 16 local Home-Starts in the capital so that together we can reach more families. Collectively, our network supported over 6,500 families including 9,500 children last year.
About the role
Working closely with the Director and Home-Start staff, volunteers and partners across the capital, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of our joint projects and activities from our peer learning groups and network events to our growing portfolio of funded partnerships.
What you'll be working on:
- You’ll take the lead on coordinating our peer learning groups, joint research and volunteer recruitment campaigns
- You’ll support the Director to secure and manage funding partnerships, including monitoring plans and budgets
- You’ll oversee development and monitoring of Home-Start London’s annual operational plan
- You’ll regularly engage with local Home-Starts and partners, ensuring they are shaping our work
- You’ll oversee logistics for network events
- You’ll provide administrative support, from raising invoices to organising/chairing network meetings
- You’ll create content for our website and social media to help promote our work
- You’ll manage office volunteers, ensuring they are happy, effective and well supported
About you
To thrive in this role, you will be highly organised with excellent multi-tasking skills and previous experience of project coordination and/or operational administration. You will be a great relationship builder, able to support people to work together effectively while ensuring agreed targets are met. As much as you enjoy collaborative work, you will also be happy working independently under your own initiative.

As our Intergenerational Care Coordinator, you will lead the intergenerational care strategy, organising events and building connections across generations. You'll collaborate with schools, community groups, and Jewish organisations, while designing lesson plans and contributing to educational projects. Your work will have a positive impact, promoting our values and enhancing lives.
What will your typical day involve?
You will lead the intergenerational care strategy, working with Nightingale Hammerson teams and external stakeholders. Key tasks include organising intergenerational events, creating spontaneous engagement opportunities, and fostering communication with Jewish organisations, synagogues, schools, and community centres.
You'll produce reports to show the impact of the programme and contribute to educational and research projects. Impeccable customer service is essential, as you'll welcome visitors and ensure a positive experience. Additionally, you'll develop departmental processes to improve efficiency and promote Nightingale Hammerson’s values.
You’ll also handle telephone and email enquiries, maintain strong working relationships, and occasionally support evening and weekend events.
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent, with a Diploma in Intergenerational Care and Education being essential. They must demonstrate a willingness to have a positive impact on people’s lives, possess excellent communication skills with a kind and caring approach, and have a strong understanding of Jewish culture and way of life.
Essential skills include literacy and numeracy for producing written materials and statistical information, alongside excellent IT skills, particularly in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, record systems, and video call programmes.
Flexibility to meet service needs and the ability to work independently without constant supervision are key.
Experience in healthcare or educational settings is required, along with experience in leading or coordinating groups. The candidate should have experience designing lesson plans, and while experience in leading intergenerational engagements is desirable, it is not essential.

We are looking for an exceptional person to join our team as the Digital Outreach Coordinator. This will be a vital role in the next phase of our development. CLAPA supports people affected by cleft to take control of their journey, connect with others, and use their voices to impact the future of care. Our vision is that no one affected by cleft lip and palate in the United Kingdom will go through their journey alone.
The Family Services Coordinator is responsible for providing families (parents/carers and children up to ten years) affected by cleft with opportunities to access accurate information, connect with each other and form supportive communities. They will champion CLAPA volunteers and will lead on the development and effective delivery of our volunteering strategy.
