ABOUT THE MENTAL HEALTH HOUSING LEAD ROLE
We are looking for a Mental Health Housing Lead for a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will help individuals live independently by providing expert support with housing and benefits. Many of the people we support come from Charter House, an NHS mental health hub in Luton, and need specialised assistance. You will work as part of a multi-agency team, alongside professionals from drug and alcohol services, community engagement programs, and services for vulnerable women. Your main focus will be to offer guidance on housing and benefits, ensuring people get the right support for their needs.
Shift Pattern: 12-Month Fixed Term Contract - This is a non-residential service, meaning you will not be based in a residential facility - 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 - 4:00, 9:00 - 5:00 and10:00 - 6:00 on a rota basis
Salary: £23,800
What are we looking for from a Mental Health Housing Lead?
- Ability to use, learn and adapt to IT at an intermediate level, including Microsoft and other software programs
- Strong understanding of housing services in Luton
- Experience supporting individuals with mental health as a primary need
- Attendance at Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings within the community mental health team

The Head of Fundraising will develop a structured major donor programme and shape a growing fundraising function that spans major donors, trusts & foundations, legacies and corporate partnerships. This role is ideal for a strategic, hands-on fundraiser who thrives on building relationships and securing transformational funding.
As Head of Fundraising, you will:
- Develop and implement a major donor fundraising strategy to secure 5- and 6-figure gifts. This includes creating compelling cases for support, crafting donor propositions, and ensuring robust stewardship
- Oversee trusts & foundations fundraising, managing one direct report and freelancers, ensuring effective grant applications and grant management
- Grow and diversify income streams, with a focus on legacy and corporate partnerships, identifying areas for long-term fundraising development
- Lead donor communications and stewardship, working with the Head of Communications and Salesforce Manager to ensure supporters feel valued and engaged

Ideal skills and experience:
- Proven experience in securing five- and six-figure gifts from HNWIs, with a track record of building long-term relationships

The Magpie Project is a community space that supports mothers with under 5-year olds who are subject to the No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF) Condition. A key part of this role will involve outreach at The Magpie Project’s community center in Newham where immigration assessments will be undertaken. As the community centre is a women-only space, the post-holder will need to be a woman so they can attend outreach. The postholder will also carry a caseload of cases from the Magpie Project, as well as other avenues when the need arises.
The partnership with Magpie aims to provide immigration advice services directly in a community space where trust has already been established, and where mums can access a variety of other support services at the same location.
The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of immigration and asylum law, as well as have a good understanding of the challenges faced by migrants with NRPF and those at risk of homelessness. They will be able to step immediately into a busy advice environment that includes independent outreach.

This exciting new role will be instrumental in supporting the provision and development of effective, efficient and optimized utilisation of data across the organisation, primarily using PowerBI.Working closely with the fundraising teams you will ensure they are receiving the correct insight to drive income and supporter growth. Alongside the Insight Manager you will initially assist in moving MAF UK’s data model and reports to a Fabric data warehouse. The data warehouse will become the single source of truth and the basis for all of MAF UK’s reporting needs.
In addition you will also have the opportunity to work on integration projects as MAF looks to bring data together in a unified way.
On the job training will be provided and there is potential for the job holder to undertake a data apprenticeship using the government funding scheme.
As the Data Analyst you will be responsible for
Enhancing PowerBI Reporting by:
- Maintaining the suite of self-service KPI reports for MAF UK via PowerBI and improve on this as required
- Owning the Quarterly Dashboard and ensure linked reports are fit for purpose
- Being proactive in delivering hands-on support to the Fundraising teams to help user adoption and understanding
- Gaining contextual knowledge of the Fundraising teams to be able to propose new reporting solutions to help campaign monitoring and drive increased income
- Ensuring the Fundraising teams are empowered to make strategic data-driven decisions and be prepared to respond to queries in a timely manner. This will include the use of third party data enrichment tools
- Building strong interpersonal relationships throughout the organisation to promote the confidence of the data team’s output
- Being proactive in setting up regular meetings with key stakeholders in discussing their reporting and analytical requirements
- Keeping up to date with PBI Product development

Additional Tasks include:

Assist the Senior Communications Manager in developing and delivering a content strategy to support Settle’s goals.

Maintain brand consistency across all communications and craft clear, engaging messages about Settle’s work.

Collaborate with frontline staff and young people to collect and share their stories in an authentic and respectful way, including creating case studies and helping to develop Settle’s storytelling work.

Design marketing materials and publications, such as newsletters, annual reports and printed flyers for our different audiences. We use InDesign for our large-scale design projects, while we use Canva for our day-to-day projects. You don’t necessarily need experience of both of these, but you’ll need to be confident with designing multimedia content with similar sort of software.

Create, publish and schedule posts for our social media, where you’ll work with the Senior Communications Manager to engage and grow our audiences. We are currently active on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Bluesky, but we are planning to launch a TikTok account this year. Experience of editing and making video content would be desirable, but we can support you to develop these skills if you are confident with using tools like Canva already.

Work with the Senior Communications Manager and wider team to develop, manage and update content for Settle’s website, keeping it up to date for all our key audiences. This will include supporting with writing blogs, with and on behalf of the organisation. Our website is built on Wagtail CMS – you don’t need to necessarily have used this exact CMS, but experience of updating website content would be desirable.

About the People’s Theatre
The People’s Theatre is a leading amateur theatre in England, one of the oldest and largest in the country. We produce 14 productions per year, attracting over 10,000 people to our building on the Coast Road.
The former cinema building has been our home since the 1960s and has been refurbished several times over the years. Most recently, we added a new studio space on the ground floor of the building, creating a fully accessible performance space with room for up to 100 audience members.
The project
We are ready for the next stage of our development, preparing to both ensure our long-term financial and environmental sustainability by embracing affordable, low-carbon technologies - both in terms of traditional theatre equipment and newer heating and energy generating technologies.
To save money, improve our financial resilience and building sustainability, the Theatre is looking to invest in three projects:

Replacement of our stage manager’s desk, ensuring it is technologically suitable for productions for years to come;

Replacement of all stage-lighting systems with LED units and new controllers, saving the theatre up to six households’ worth of electricity annually, therefore providing both a substantial cost and energy saving;

Improving the theatre’s heating systems, including potential installation of air-handling units, heat pumps, upgrades to the fabric of the building, as well as possible energy generation and storage options. This work is guided by a full-scale feasibility study currently underway.
In order to deliver this project, we are embarking on a fundraising effort that will help us be able to pay for these upgrades to our building and performance spaces.
We seek to enlist the help of a professional fundraiser, who is experienced in working with small charities, preferably within the arts sector in the North East.
Job description

Help the theatre shape the strategy for engagement with charitable and government funders of the arts sector for the purposes of the outlined programme;

Develop a proposition for the programme that resonates with charities, funds and corporate sponsors;

Identify and approach potential funders that align with the Theatre’s values and needs;

Attend appropriate external networking events in order to develop relationships leading to donations;

Write and prepare fundraising proposals, in collaboration with the theatre’s fundraising lead and management team;

Secure funding by approaching trusts, local businesses and individuals;

Undertake any reasonable duties, commensurate with the level of the post.
Appointment and fee
The position will be offered on a self-employed or consultancy basis for 12 months at a competitive market rate, commensurate to the candidate’s experience and existing rates. The post is subject to a three-month probationary period.

The Head of High Value in Fundraising will focus and lead on:
· Setting the strategic direction of High Value fundraising

You will be responsible for continuing the impressive income growth in High Value and doubling income to £3.6m from corporates, trusts and foundations and major donors. You will ensure that the High Value team has effective processes and you will personally manage relationships with supporters.
You will:
· Lead on stewardship and cultivation planning across High Value Fundraising
· Ensure there are effective process and ways of working across High Value such as meeting schedules and pipeline reporting
· Work with stakeholders across RNID (particularly in the programmes teams) to ensure that compelling propositions can be presented to donors
· Ensure high quality cultivation plans across high value, increasing the number of new supporters to meet fundraising ambitions

About the role
The main purpose of this role is to lead our events and community fundraising programmes, maintaining and growing income to support our purpose to improve mental health in Hampshire. About you
