Our team in Greenwich work together to offer a range of support to promote wellbeing and help people to manage their mental health. Client needs shape our services and they are at the centre of all we do.
We are recruiting a Peer Support Coordinator to lead the development and delivery of Peer Support sessions and work with Peer Support Volunteers to develop new opportunities. Groups will be held at our Greenwich centre and at venues across the borough of Greenwich. We particularly want to increase engagement of under-served communities in Greenwich.
You will have experience of group development, collaborative working across service teams and an excellent understanding of service user engagement. You will be highly organised and ensure all client data is accurately entered into our Views database. All records of groups and activities will also be entered promptly onto the database. The Role: This is an exciting new position for a highly motivated, organized, and analytical individual with the opportunity to make a real difference in a growing organization. As our Government Fundraising Specialist, you will be at the forefront of implementing our government fundraising strategy. This role involves a blend of research, advocacy, strategic proposal development, and guidance on contractual and donor compliance. You will join a dynamic, hard-working team responsible for securing 90% of the organization's revenue. Your work will focus on a new two-pronged approach: targeting governments at both the capital and local embassy levels in the regions where we operate our grantmaking programs, with the goal of making this revenue stream a significant component of our organizational budget in the coming years. You will not be starting from scratch, as we currently have secured government funding, as well as numerous relationships with governments that can be leveraged. And you will work in partnership with many colleagues across departments who will contribute to the success of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organizational Preparation: Help prepare the organization for success in securing new government funding by developing internal systems, processes, and workflows necessary for effective engagement and management.
- Strategy Development: Contribute to refining and enhancing the government fundraising strategy to align with organizational goals and emerging opportunities.
- Research & Identification: Explore international cooperation trends and the government donor landscape and identify promising funding opportunities.
- Partnerships: Build and maintain strategic partnerships with other organizations to extend our reach and impact.

Skills for Success: To excel in this role, you will need:
- Expertise: At least 7 years of experience in fundraising for international human rights, social justice and/or development cooperation, with a proven track record of securing funding from government donors through both relationship building and competitive bids.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of the government donor landscape and grant processes.
- Compliance Savvy: Strong grasp of compliance requirements related to government grants and experience in working with internal colleagues to prepare organizations to meet these requirements.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Proven leadership skills combined with a collaborative approach to teamwork.

About the Role
This role will lead on the day-to-day operation of the accounts receivable, credit control, accounts payable and cash management functions. You will be required to work closely with the financial controller and other members of the Finance Team to ensure that processing in these areas is complete, accurate and compliant, and supports the timely preparation of management accounts. You will also work with colleagues from across the organisation and key external stakeholders to ensure that income is received, cash is held and monitored following the Charity’s internal financial controls, and all legal and regulatory requirements are complied with.
There will be a need to exercise good leadership and management skills and be able to prioritise and delegate effectively to the Finance Assistants.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the day to day operations of the sales ledger function
- Responsible for ensuring invoices are raised on time and in line with agreements with funders
- Responsible for the collection and recording of all non-rental income, in accordance with the charity’s income and internal controls policies
- Main point of contact for queries regarding non-rental income sales invoices
- Monitor all cash transactions and ensure they are recorded on the Finance system on a timely basis
- To lead on the day to day operations of the purchase ledger function
- To manage the preparation of the weekly payment run, ensuring that all due items are included
- Review nominal ledger activity and post journals for on a timely basis to ensure ledger information is accurate and complete in line with month end timetable
- Responsible for the accurate preparation of month end reconciliations for allocated balance sheet codes including Fixed Assets, bank accounts, debtors, accrued and deferred income
About You
You will need to have the following skills and experience:
· Part-qualified accountant or extensive and demonstrable experience in a variety of financial roles

About the Role

The work is an assertive outreach caseworker role; an Advocate will be responsible for supporting 5 women in their assigned borough. You will have worked with people experiencing various aspects of severe and multiple disadvantage: homelessness, substance use, mental health issues, insecure immigration status, prostitution, offending history and children taken into care.

- Demonstrable experience of working with people affected by VAWG
- Experience of risk assessment, risk management, and safety planning with victim/survivors including those at high risk

We are seeking 2 Specialist ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Advisor) to join our Advocacy team at Respond. The role includes providing pro-active emotional, practical and advocacy support for adults with learning disabilities and autistic people with complex or multiple needs who have experienced any form of sexual violence and are engaging, (or considering engaging) with the criminal justice system. The ISVA will work across London to provide non-judgmental, trauma-informed emotional support, working in partnership with other London sexual violence support services.
Our ideal candidate will have a friendly and relational approach to working with clients. You will have the ability to build trusting relationships, work in an empowering and inclusive way and support clients to heal following sexual abuse and develop coping capacity. You will be a self-motivated individual who will engage with a wider range of people who have experience sexual violence, and other barriers to justice.

About you
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a proactive and experienced Senior HR Advisor to join our HR team. MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
