The IRMF coordinates a pan-Islington network refugees and migrants’ organisations to develop capacity building support enable them serve their respective communities. The post holder should be an experienced and enthusiastic who will: -

· Deliver effective capacity building support to local RMCOs at all stages of development,

· Work in collaboration with second tier organisations to deliver organisational support to RMCOs including improving their governance and funding skills,

· Contribute to cross-organisation initiatives including bid/funding proposals, quality accreditations and projects 

· Able to build and sustain positive relationships with key stakeholders with good understanding of governance and policy issues relating the third sector

· Take personal responsibility for contributing to high quality standards in customer relations, service delivery, project management and communications

· Comfortable networking and representing the organisation,

· Willingness to learn; work as part of a team and to help others

The Community Engagement Practitioner will be an essential contact and facilitator for existing scheme members. The post holder will provide consistency and enthusiasm across all activities while ensuring all practices are underpinned by co-creation, delivery and future development of the scheme by the members of Connect. This is an exciting opportunity to be alongside our members and to provide day-to-day practical support, signposting, and safe spaces for membership interaction. Whilst being homebased, the Community Engagement Practitioner will be required to work flexibly including regular evening working and occasional weekends as well as travelling for team meetings, member events, training and other in person events.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for Advocates to join our team covering Fife and the surrounding area. You will be involved in one-to-one advocacy along with group work across the area; this could be in a clients’ home, hospital, care homes or other suitable community venues and be home based for administrative tasks.  Therefore, access to your own transportation and a suitable home internet connection is essential.

The Role

The Philanthropic Partnerships Assistant plays an important role in supporting the financial sustainability objectives of GGF UK. The postholder is responsible for managing a portfolio of trust and foundations partnerships giving up to $200,000 per year, and will also be responsible for stewarding our portfolio of individual giving supporters donating up to £10,000 per year. The role also contributes to GGF UK’s communications activity in collaboration with our global Communications function, as well as contributing to ensuring that the organisation’s fundraising activity is supported with robust infrastructure and processes.

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in fundraising from trusts, foundations, and/or individual donors, ideally within environmental, international, or rights-based organisations. They will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and time management skills, effectively prioritising tasks to deliver excellent results within a complex, varied, and time-sensitive workload.

With excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, the candidate will have a proven ability to create compelling proposals, presentations, reports, and other materials. They will possess strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office, Google Apps, and collaboration tools like Trello and Slack, along with experience using Salesforce or other CRM systems. The candidate will have a strong understanding of and commitment to environmental and social justice, with some knowledge of the issues addressed by Global Greengrants Fund. • Assist in maintenance of accurate records for the research team, including document migration and data quality control.

• Respond to enquiries about The Charity’s funded research, research strategy and calls for applications from researchers, the general public and colleagues within The Charity.
• Assist in ensuring the scientific accuracy of internal and external communications around the research programme, for example in feedback letters, mail outs, newsletters, website content and press releases.

About You

The post will support the Head of Public Affairs in helping the Trust movement develop relationships with key influencers in Westminster. You will work with policy, campaigning, and communications colleagues to build support for The Trusts’ advocacy priorities and will also have the chance to work with other charities and NGOs, as we develop dynamic and exciting campaigns to address the twin crises of our age – climate change and loss of the natural world. 

You will have an understanding of the legislative process and parliamentary procedures and will have the ability to communicate detailed policies in a compelling and persuasive way. Experience of and a proven track record of working with politicians and civil servants is advantageous, as is experience of supporting successful advocacy campaigns and fronting policies and programmes.

About the Role

ABOUT THE ROLE 

We are hiring a Resettlement Mentor, who will be responsible for offering support for residents with complex needs, who are ready to move on and live independently. You will offer a range of frontline care and support within the service, to support those who require accommodation and community-based support. We assist those facing challenges such as mental illness, substance misuse, homelessness, and offending backgrounds, helping them overcome barriers in their lives. Our goal is to tackle inequalities in access to health, employment, training, and social care.

You will support residents/participants in various ways including encouraging those moving into suitable accommodation, creating personalised support plans which meet their needs and objectives. You will also participate in and encourage residents/participants to participate in events, projects, and outreach including clinics for resident move on's within our clusters, and work flexibly with weekly visits to multiple hubs. Part of this role will also involve completing safeguarding and other referrals from Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) where this role is based, and working closely with the team of Peer Mentors and Support teams. 

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9:00am-5:00pm, some activities and responsibilities may fall outside these hours.

OVERVIEW OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support residents/participants to achieve their desired goals/outcomes in various ways especially around encouraging those moving on into suitable accommodation this can include but is not limited to the contribution and development of support plans, risk assessments, reviews, case meetings.

• Empower residents/participants to make decisions to take control over their lives, by creating an enabling environment.

Transforming Lives for Good (TLG) are a national Christian charity working in partnership with local churches to give struggling children hope and a future. Building on the huge success of TLG Early Intervention Coaching, TLG Therapeutic Support will be a new way for TLG, with partner churches, to provide support in school for the increasing number of pupils struggling to cope due to their emotional, relational, and mental health experiences.

In this role we are looking for an individual that thrives working with children and young people in a school context and is passionate about supporting pupils and their families struggling with emotional, relational, and mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will be a qualified counsellor with an aptitude for creativity whether this is music and drama, sport and outdoor recreation or other fields of kinaesthetic development. The TLG Therapeutic Counsellor will be present each week in the school, providing specialist trauma aware care for these children, whilst supporting staff and parents too, so we're looking for an individual who can build and foster strong relationships.
