Main Purpose
The VCS Support Officer role provides advice and support for voluntary and community organisations about organisational development. Summary
- To keep updated on the main requirements of the Church of England's legislation Clergy Discipline Measure (CDM), Rules and Code of Practice and the incoming Clergy Code of Conduct Measure.
- the post holder is required to liaise with the Archbishop of York on potential, current, and past CDM cases and make the necessary administrative arrangements, including research and preparation of correspondence and briefing papers, and liaison with staff connected with CDM issues within the Church of England.
- To support the Archbishop of York on a number of his most important metropolitical functions, including clergy discipline and Canon C4 processes. In addition, they provide support to the Archbishop's team in other areas of legislation such as data protection policies and procedures.
- To liaise with the Archbishop of York regarding applications for Canon C4 faculties (the process to allow certain candidates for ordination to proceed to training) received from Diocesan Bishops in the Northern Province.
- This is a hybrid role, with the expectation to work from the primary office 2-3 days per week.
- A basic DBS check will be required as part of our pre-employment checks.
- A salary of £37,261.60 (FTE £46,577) per annum, plus age-related pension contributions between 8-15% of salary. We will also match any pension contributions you make up to an additional 3% of your salary.

Main purpose and scope of role
Working closely with the President and the Board of Trustees, the CEO will provide strategic vision and leadership and will strive to ensure that IPWSO delivers its charitable purposes and remains successful and sustainable.
Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not limited to)
Leadership
· Strive to ensure that the charitable purposes of IPWSO are followed and that it delivers the public benefit set out in its governing document.

PCS is looking for a skilled and effective National Officer who can contribute, as a member of the Management Team, to the continued success of the Union. Through team meetings and the appraisal and development review process, you will provide strong leadership and managerial skill to direct a team of staff in delivering the union’s core and national objectives.
Salary and Location
· Band 5, Regional, Spine points 23-19
· Regional Salary: £56,079 p.a. rising to £64,472 p.a.

Successful candidates for the National Officer will be able to demonstrate:
· Experience of team leadership, people management and development
· Understanding of the political processes in the UK and the role and work of trade unions
· Sound knowledge of employment rights and advocacy skills
· Proven track record in bargaining, organising and campaigning
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
· Knowledge and understanding of how digitalisation, IT and digital technology impacts the future of the union
The main duties of the National Officer role include:
· Contribute to the strategic development of the Union’s policy objectives including the PCS planning process
· Provide leadership in delivering the union’s bargaining, organising, campaigning, equality, learning and digital objectives and have direct involvement in more complex or strategic areas
· Manage people and resources in allocated area
· Represent PCS at external meetings
· Provide advice to and lead relevant committees including the preparation and presentation of reports
· Monitor and report on issues and initiatives as requested
· Provide input into budgetary processes including bid preparation, monitoring and control where relevant

Senior Individual Giving Officer
Location: Hybrid working part London Office (Islington, London) part home work. The post holder will work a minimum of one day per week in the office.
Salary: £34,525 per annum
Hours: 35 hours per week

The Group Finance Director holds a key role in the executive team in the Foundation Office of the Charity. They are accountable for all matters relating to the UWGCF Charity finance, including the oversight of school income, endowment investments, loans, subsidiary companies, VAT, and the leadership of the Foundation finance team. To succeed in the job, the post holder needs to build effective working relationships with independent school bursars and finance teams and link effectively with the Business managers in the state funded academies.
The UWGCF is a complex organisation, and the post holder will need to demonstrate a high level of communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to build effective and supportive working relationships with other and be prepared to engage fully in the work of the Foundation. This may mean working outside of normal working hours but most importantly means communicating and work with colleagues as part of the team.
Initially they will report to the Chair of Trustees, although following a Governance Review and further work on Foundation Strategy, the Trustees may appoint a Foundation CEO.
