Who we are

YMCA Birmingham is an independent Christian charity that works with people of all faiths and of none. We are proud to be affiliated to the national and international YMCA Movement, who provide us with advice, support and representation. We work with women and men, but the primary focus of our work is with young people.

Our mission is to inspire young people to discover their potential so that they can live life in all its fullness.  We provide accommodation and support to help vulnerable people towards independent living whilst also providing employment, training and work place experience through our social enterprises and employability projects. We also deliver a wide range of youth and community services including accommodation, family work, training & education, conferencing, and support & advice.
