YiS Youth Counselling Service

Who we are

We provide free and confidential counselling for young people aged 11-21 who live, learn or work in Milton Keynes. We offer an Initial Meeting followed by six sessions of counselling and work with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, anger, recovery from abuse, family problems, relationship difficulties and many more. The Initial Meeting is held before counselling begins so that young people can discuss any questions they may have about counselling and to make sure that this is the right service at the right time for their needs.

YiS Youth Counselling Service is a long running independent charity with a BACP (British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists) Accredited Service. This means that we have demonstrated a high quality of service delivery, meeting benchmark standards for counselling & psychotherapy provision maintained by ongoing assessment. In addition, BACP Accredited Services work within the BACP's Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions (2018).
