Who we are

Yes Manchester helps people and families become economically independent.

We are an award-winning charity, established as a CIC 9 years ago to help north-Manchester residents to access employment, volunteering and learning opportunities, improve their digital skills, and achieve their ambitions.  

We exist to relieve unemployment and poverty, and provide supportive, whole-person information, advice, and guidance for unemployed and under-employed individuals in north-Manchester.  We define under-employed as someone with a job, but still reliant on benefits.

We are and have always been ‘always positive, community focused and person-centred’.  Our vision, adopted in 2013, is to ‘build confidence, drive ambition and inspire people to be the best that they can be’.
