About us
Who we are
Over 300,000 children develop cancer each year. The majority of these children live in developing countries. In the developed world, medical advances in the last fifty years mean that 80% of children with cancer will now survive; in the developing world, the picture is very different and survival rates are as low as 10%. Thousands of children are dying each year or suffering unnecessarily, when they could be treated or cured. Often the treatment they need is relatively simple and inexpensive and has been known to doctors in the developing world for decades. We are working hard to give these children the treatment and care they need which will give them the chance of a future.
