About us
Who we are
Women & Children First is a small NGO based in London. Since 2001, we have contributed to the Sustainable Development Goals by implementing more than 50 international programmes, reaching over 12.5 million people across 15 countries in Africa, Asia and Central America, always through working with local partners.
The main focus of our work are our health groups, using the Participatory Learning & Action (PLA) methodology to empower communities and save lives. We are also innovators, designing and testing new innovations to help save lives.
Our vision is a world where all women, children and young people can survive and thrive.
Our mission is to empower local communities to take action on the global health challenges facing women, children and young people.
Our values are to be collaboative, driven, adaptable, kind and brilliant.
