About us
Who we are
The Wings of Hope Children’s Charity provides free education to poor and orphaned children in the developing world. The education we provide will help these children break the cycle of dependency, and become providers for their communities. The Wings of Hope Achievement Award (WOHAA) is a programme we run in the UK for students to become directly involved in charity work. The purpose of WOHAA is to challenge students to step outside of their comfort zones, by providing an opportunity to develop key transferable skills to succeed beyond the academic arena whilst fundraising for underprivileged students supported by The Wings of Hope. Supporters of WOHAA include leading UK corporate organisations: PwC, Saatchi & Saatchi, The House of Lords, and the BBC. 30,000+ UK students have taken part in WOHAA to-date from all over the UK .
