Who we are

West Herts School Trust (WHST) is a multi-academy trust (MAT). We opened three primary schools in September 2014: Ascot Road and Lanchester based in Watford and Jupiter in Hemel Hempstead. The schools have worked very hard to establish themselves in their communities and pupil outcomes are above average both in Hertfordshire and nationally. Our schools are independent state funded primary schools, responding to what local people say they want and need and form part of the local community of schools. The WHST schools are 'sister' schools to the Hatfield Community Free School which opened in September 2012.
