About us
Who we are
We are a Surrey based mental health charity part commissioned by the Community Connections contract to deliver psychosocial wellbeing services for people with mental health difficulties. The charity has been in operation or over 20 years beginning its life as a community support group helping people manage mental health difficulties.
We offer a range of services based on our Six Pillars of Wellbeing as shown through the work of the New Economics Foundation (NEF), South London and Maudsley’s (SLAM’s) Wheel of Wellbeing, and in the field of positive psychology: People, Movement, Mindfulness, Giving, Learning and Flow. They include 1-2-1 wellness coaching, peer support groups, information & signposting, art classes, mindfulness and meditation, free 12 month Headspace subscriptions, yoga, social gatherings, 1-2-1 Citizens Advice appointments, healthy eating and more!
Our Wellbeing Coaches are practicing counsellors delivering support based on the Recovery Star model and motivational interviewing. Our mindfulness workshops are run by a fully trained mindfulness practitioner, as are our yoga classes. We have artists running the art classes, qualified CAB personnel and a specialist in pain running the workshops.
We are based in Walton-on-Thames, East Molesey and Esher.
