About us
Who we are
We are a small charity (Registration No.1172757) set up with the purpose of providing advocacy, advice and support services to refugees, asylum seekers and other vulnerable migrants living in the London Boroughs of Redbridge, Newham, Waltham Forest, Havering, Barking and Dagenham and the County of Essex.
We specialise in immigration advice. We are registered with the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner at Level 3 (OISC Registration No. N201700016).
We also provide housing advice and support, and a signposting and referral service; and hold coffee mornings.
We look forward to a society where all migrants are valued, respected and empowered to achieve their full potential.
Our culture and values
We look forward to a society where all migrants are valued, respected and empowered to achieve their full potential.
Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
Wanstead and Woodford Migrant Support recognises that we live in a society where discrimination still operates to the disadvantage of many groups in society.
We believe that all persons should have equal rights to recognition of their human dignity, and to have equal opportunities to be educated, to work, receive services and to participate in society.
Wanstead and Woodford Migrant Support is committed to the promotion of equal opportunities through the way we manage the organisation and provide services to the community.
We encourage participation from those with lived experience at all levels of the organisation.
