Who we are
Volunteer Centre Greenwich is the leading independent voice on volunteering in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Our vision is to positively change lives and communities through volunteering. VCG actively promotes volunteering to residents and organisations; matches opportunities with potential volunteers; promotes good practice; supports organisations with volunteering through training and advice; provides opportunities to disadvantaged groups, e.g. people with a learning disability; and essentially removes barriers to volunteering through bespoke training and mentoring to be fully inclusive. VCG also directly delivers services to Greenwich residents through project work.
