VASA (Voluntary Action Stratford on Avon District)

Who we are

VASA has been offering services to help allevaite loneliness and isolation for over 35 years now.  Services include: community transport, community activties such as lunch clubs, groups and clubs, community events and carer respite services including day services, dementia day services and carers groups for support. We also loan out wheelchairs.

We have 7 part time paid staff and over 170 volunteers and over 3000 beneficiaries.

This year, we've undergone a huge transformation and had to make some very hard decisions but we're pleased with the results and are now expanding and opening new services more in line with what our district needs.

We have very supportive trustees and strong funding to see us through the next year. Our mission is to partner with other organisations like ourselves to improve services to the ageing population in our area and others.

We work hard to ensure that our clients needs are met but we also enjoy what we do soit doesn't feel like hard work.
