Who we are

Thank you for your interest in joining the UWSU team!

Westminster University was founded in 1838 as the first polytechnic in the UK. It is a diverse and forward-thinking University and the Students’ Union has an important role to play in the lives of current and future Westminster students.

We have over 90 members of staff working at the Union, from our Barista’s to our Advice Manager. And we always put our people at the centre of everything we do.

If you join UWSU, you get to join an organisation that is focused on helping you to develop in your career whatever stage you’re at. With training and shadowing opportunities to support meetings with your line-manager.
