Who we are

The University of Cape Town Trust is a UK registered charitable trust which was established in 1991 to build support in the UK and Europe for the University of Cape Town, South Africa’s leading and oldest university.   The UCT Trust is governed by a Board of Trustees and managed on a day-to-day basis by a Director, supported by an Administrator.  We raise funds for bursaries for historically disadvantaged students, as well as infrastructure projects at the university.  We also organise events for University of Cape Town alumni who are based in the UK.
