About us
Who we are
Our Mission:
Under the Radar UK Partnerships mission is to prevent the sexual exploitation of vulnerable young men and boys whilst raising awareness about this often ignored subject.
Aims & Objectives:
Everything Under the Radar UK does is directed towards ending child sexual exploitation.
We pioneer good practice and support young people aged under 25-years to stay safe by working with them, their families and partner organisations. We also strive to raise public awareness of this form of abuse and improve the lives of those affected by influencing policy and practice at local and national levels.
We focus on practical approaches to tackling child sexual exploitation, delivering prevention work, ensuring the protection of children and young people at risk, and supporting the police in the disruption and prosecution of those committing these crimes. We do this by: –
- Improving awareness of child sexual exploitation through targeted work with young people, parents/carers, organisations, and the wider community
- Providing direct support for children and young people identified as being, or at risk of being, sexually exploited, and their parents / carers
- Working to advocate for the victims of child sexual exploitation and to share good practice, knowledge and expertise
- Sharing information to enable the investigation, disruption and prosecution of the parpetrators of this crime
