About us

Who we are

We are a dynamic and rapidly evolving community foundation reaching across North and East Yorkshire – and are currently embarking on the early stages of an ambitious 3-year plan to enhance our regional grant-giving capability. Since 2015 we have brought in £3.5m in new funds for the region and look to double this by 2020. 

In 2016 we awarded over £1.5m in grants to over 300 organisations and have an exciting VItal Signs programme of mapping the issues across our diverse region.

We have over 40 funds at present, with endowed funds of over £2.6m and flow through funds of circa £1m pa and are active members of UKCF the national membership body for the 46 accredited community foundations across the UK..
