Tuppenny Barn

Who we are

Tuppenny Barn provides children with the experience of growing, cooking and eating healthy food. We aim to help reduce the growing rate of obesity that is becoming more widespread, particularly in disadvantaged children. The charity also introduces the concepts of sustainability, biodiversity and conservation to the next generation responsible for protecting the environment. 

We currently reach out to around 1000 children and young people each year and we are committed to expanding our services. We engage with children from schools in the surrounding area between Portsmouth, Chichester and the South Downs, and provide access for all - in particular those with Special Education Needs, disabled children and those from a disadvantaged background.
