Who we are
The Trafford Centre Foundation is a new charitable grant making trustundergoing formation and approval. In the coming few months, the Foundation is aiming to distribute funding received from the Trafford Centre’s owners, employees, brand partners and visitors to support communities within the North-West.
Our culture and values
Through a process of consultation with staff, guests and stakeholders the following key focus areas have been identified for priority support.
Training & Education: We recognise the importance of equipping individuals with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive. We are looking to partner with educational institutions and initiatives to ensure that access to quality education is a reality for all. We support organisations' vocational training and work-based opportunities for the youth of the Greater Manchester Region.
Diversity and Inclusion: We believe that diversity is our strength, and inclusion is our responsibility. The Foundation will actively support projects that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of life. We support organisations and projects supporting minority ethnic communities across the region.
Deprivation: We are committed to reducing societal disparities and alleviating the burdens of deprivation. Through strategic partnerships, we aim to uplift the lives of those facing economic and social challenges. We support organisations that all those living in more deprived circumstances gain access to services and meaningful employment.
Environment: Environmental sustainability is not just a goal; it's a responsibility. We support initiatives that protect our environment, conserve resources, and promote a greener, healthier world for all. We support organisations and bodies that are the custodians of our environment looking to protect our natural resources and reduce the waste we produce.
