About us
Who we are
Established in 1986, The Soup Kitchen is a resource for the homeless, elderly, lonely and vulnerable in London. We provide free meals, clothing, toiletries and a sense of belonging to nearly 150 of our friends daily. We aim to tackle some of the core issues of homelessness and give our friends the ability and the confidence to get back into a more normal society by relieving some of their everyday stresses, such as where their next meal is coming from. By offering our individual counselling sessions, food, clothing and friendship, we hope to empower people to reconnect with their families, reconnect with employment and change the trajectory of their lives for the better.
