About us
Who we are
The WayfinderWoman Trust is volunteer-led run by women for women. We help vulnerable women transform their lives by building their confidence, skills and strength so they can discover who they really are. We were proud to receive the Queens Award for Voluntary Service, the highest award bestowed on a charity in recognition of our work.
Based in Eastbourne at our drop-in centre, the Hub, we're funded by grants, donations, pro-bono support, and community goodwill, enabling us to support over 1,000 women in Eastbourne, East Sussex and beyond with our peer support and workshops.
Our culture and values
We are committed to preventing social exclusion of women and young girls of working age. We work across all our community to improve the lives of women. We are a female orientated organisation and our drop-in centre is a safe space for women rgardless of background. We encourage men to support us in our external activities that raise the profile of the charity and the prejudices and barriers that women face.
Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
We have an EDI policy which all those in our organisation are signed up to.
