The Tree Council

Who we are

The Tree Council is a national charity that brings everyone together with a shared mission to care for trees and our planet's future. We fund, plant and care for trees, hedgerows and orchards with the fabulous support of our 6000 volunteer tree wardens and young tree champions. We use science to influence policy and encourage best practice, working with government and academics. We are a small, energetic, enthusiastic, highly-motivated team of employees and Trustees who enjoy working together for the love of trees. The charity celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2023.
