Who we are

We are an independent charity, with three investment programmes that aim to:

• Promote the well-being of the very young and very old, protecting those who are suffering or at risk, but unable to tell others about it. 
• Encourage the commercial development of scientific research and innovation, which creates business and jobs in the UK. We support scientific research as a founding donor to the Royal Society Enterprise Fund.
• Support specific one-off projects that will tangibly benefit people.
