About us
Who we are
The Sparkle Foundation is a grassroots UK registered charity and international NGO which works with local communities and engages with international skilled volunteers to create small-scale sustainable projects, which trigger large-scale changes in Malawi. With a holistic approach to child welfare, Sparkle provides education, medical care and nutrition to hundreds of orphans and vulnerable children in 17 rural villages near Zomba.
Founded by Sarah Brook in 2012, after a near-death experience age 18, the organisation now employs 35 staff and more than 30 volunteers from around the globe.
Our vision is to create a future in which every community has an equal opportunity to live a life of health and self-sufficiency.
Our Mission is to drive positive change within the charity sector through the delivery of a sustainable and replicable best-practice community model.
