About us
Who we are
At The Smallpeice Trust, we believe anything is possible when you know how. That’s why we’re here to give young people everything they need to fuel their passion for engineering, helping to make their big ideas a reality. The Trust is all about inspiring and supporting young engineers in the making who are daring enough to imagine.
STEM activities offer immersive experiences for Primary and Secondary School students, encouraging young people at all ages to pursue careers in engineering beyond the classroom.
Engineering courses enable students to fuel their passion for STEM subjects. These multi-day courses give an insight into life beyond the classroom and introduce students to industry leaders and get young people with similar interests working together on hands-on projects.
Arkwright Engineering Scholarships are the most prestigious of their type in the UK. The programme exists to identify, inspire, and nurture outstanding engineers of the future as they leave school and progress into the exciting world of engineering.
Our culture and values
At the Smallpeice Trust, our mission is clear: to ignite passion and unlock potential in young minds, paving the way for a future driven by innovation and discovery. Rooted in a culture of believing that every child deserves access to opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), we tirelessly strive to bridge gaps and break barriers.
Our values embody integrity, inclusivity, and excellence, as we empower individuals to explore, learn, and thrive in STEM fields. Through hands-on experiences, mentorship, and educational support, we foster curiosity, resilience, and creativity, shaping tomorrow's leaders and problem solvers. Together, we inspire a world where the wonders of STEM are within reach for all.
