About us
Who we are
Queen’s is one of the oldest colleges in Oxford (established in 1341) and is a community of academics, students and staff dedicated to the highest standards in teaching, learning and scholarship. Queen’s is one of 38 colleges within Oxford and is a constituent part of the University of Oxford. The main College buildings sit in a beautiful, classical site on the High Street with other annexes within walking distance of the main buildings. Ours is a friendly, close knit community, home to some 340 undergraduates, 160 postgraduate students, nearly 50 senior members, and a permanent non-academic support staff of around 100. Whilst its principal mission is that of education and research, the College also provides conference services during vacations.
