About us

Who we are

Our mission statement

  • We offer support and information about PGP to women with PGP and their families and carers.
  • We raise awareness that PGP is a pelvic joint problem that can be safely and effectively treated with manual therapy.
  • We inform healthcare professionals about PGP and promote best practice in its treatment.

Our culture and values

Our intentions

  1. To give women experiencing PGP the tools and confidence to make informed decisions about their care during and after pregnancy. The information is based on both research and the experience of other women with PGP.
  2. To offer support through our website, ebook, social media platforms, Facebook support group, telephone helpline and other group meetings.
  3. To give women the tools and confidence to have a positive experience of pregnancy, childbirth and parenthood, enabling them to manage their condition and make informed choices.
  4. To promote best practice in the treatment of PGP by working with healthcare professionals.
  5. To promote best practice for the management of PGP in maternity services and primary care.
  6. To treat all individuals who contact the charity with fairness and respect and take account of their individual needs.
  7. To produce information about PGP based on the best available evidence.
