Who we are

The Nuclear Institute is a registered charity which is also a professional membership body for people who work in the nuclear industry. This is a very interesting and crucial sector for the UK and we work with our members to promote careers in nuclear that will benefit future generations with the provision of low carbon energy and the careful management of fuel waste. A lot of our members work in technical roles and the companies in the industry are keen to foster greater diversity and inclusion to ensure the industry attracts the best talent for the ongoing nuclear new build programme. Our small staff team is highly professional and engages closely with our volunteers and members to raise standards of professionalism in the industry as well as promoting it as a good place to work.
