Who we are

We are looking for an individual with a strong retail background. Must be able to take on all supervisory responsibilities at our charity warehouse unit and online sales office. Must be highly self-motivated, excellent record keeper with a drive to grow our online selling. Must uphold the ethics and values of the Kit Wilson Trust Animal Rescue Centre. The job entails working 5 days a week, 5 hours per day, 10.00 am to 4.00 pm, with 1 hour for lunch. Hours worked to include a Saturday. A total of 25 hours per week. Supervise and organise incoming and outgoing donations for all 3 charity shops. Communicate effectively with all shop managers, staff and volunteers. Arrange deliveries with volunteer van drivers. 

Use online selling platforms and auctioneers where appropriate, to sell donations, maximising charitable funds raised. Keep detailed records and communicate these in monthly reports to the Trustees. Keep Warehouse unit and online sales office organised, clean and tidy to an excellent standard.

Must be a friendly welcoming presence at the warehouse.

Retail experience essential with an understanding of a wide variety of retail markets.

Organise and supervise volunteers as necessary.
