Who we are

We are an independent charitable community development trust set up to support the community of Glendale which is is one of the most sparsley populated areas of the country covering 250 square miles of North Northumberland. We are based in Wooler, a small town on the edge of the Northumberland National Park. Our mission is to benefit the community, economy, environment and heritage of Glendale. We do this by: 

Providing  a multi- purpose community hub which houses the Police Station, Newcastle Building Society, Library and Tourist Information centre alongside rooms and offices for hire.
 

We have a number of business set up pods to enable new businesss to get off the ground.
 

We own and rent out 6 commercial properties in Wooler.
 

We provide affordable homes for local people with our 20 residential properties.
 

We support community initiatives and engage with the Glendale community
 

We work in partnership with public, private, statutory and voluntary sector organisations.
