Who we are

We are an independant local charity, who aims to reduce isolation and loneliness, and improve quality of life, for local people in Kirklees.  We operate 20 anti-loneliness projects which includes community transport, drop-in centres, social activity groups, dementia groups, and community centres – across Kirklees.  Find out more about us at our website, @DDCprojects on Facebook and @TimeTogether1 on Twitter, or come and chat with us at one of our bases.  Our growing team of around 100, includes volunteers, work-placements, student-placements and employed staff – all benefit from direct support and training (both online and in person) plus expenses and social activities.
