The Bridge Centre for Visual Arts

Who we are

The Bridge Centre for Visual Arts (known locally as The Bridge) is run by a registered charity of the same name and occupies a building close to the centre of Darlington.  The charity provides rooms, storage, equipment and facilities enabling community groups, private tutors, the local council and others to offer a wide range of courses and activities to all in Darlington and the surrounding area.  As well as the rooms complete with tables, chairs, etc, the facilities available include 2 pottery wheels, 2 pottery kilns, a digital art studio and two hand operated printing presses.  The arts and craft courses and activities currently on offer cover a wide range of abilities from beginners to the very accomplished for a diverse community including specific projects designed for vulnerable adults and young people with challenging disabilities.
