Who we are
The Black Prince Trust was established in 2011 when the London Borough of Lambeth designated a 2.5-acre site on the Old Lillian Baylis School as a Community Hub.
The site sits at the heart of the Ethelred Estate in Kennington, which is home to close to 4000 residents in one of the most deprived boroughs in London. Lambeth and the Trust had a common vision to offer first-class sports and education facilities to the local community and schools.
The Trust works in partnership with a number of commercial and charitable stakeholders to deliver sessions and programmes for the community – many of which are free at the point of use.
