About us
Who we are
Our Aims
Provide a comprehensive approach to improving the quality of life, mental health and resilience of families living with additional needs and behaviours that challenge. Combine early interventions with long-term support by providing a tailored approach to meeting every family’s needs. Break through social isolation, parent carers of challenging children often experience due to insufficient awareness and inclusivity of additional needs. Bridge the gap between informal and formal help between family support and professionals, nurturing a strong peer support network. Promote positive mental health and self-care in parent carers, thereby facilitating improvements in the mental health needs of the child/children. Raise awareness of child and adolescent mental health to alleviate public stigma and subsequently parental self-stigma. Inspire parent carers to celebrate their children’s individuality and diversity.
Our Mission
To support and empower parent carers of children with additional needs, inspiring positive change for both parent and child, by developing skills, insight, training, and a peer support network.
Our Vision
For all parent carers of children with additional needs to be empowered, respected, and supported to overcome the challenge they face in helping children to achieve their full potential.
