About us
Who we are
The Thames Estuary Partnership (TEP) is a charity and neutral forum bringing Thames estuary stakeholders together to work towards the best social, economic and environmental outcomes for the Thames. Hosted by University College London (UCL), TEP has been building networks, delivering projects and facilitating partnership programmes for the past 20 years. TEP receives core funding from the Port of London Authority, the Environment Agency, Thames Water and the Corporation of London. With board representation from Natural England, Essex County, UCL and RSPB, TEP aims to facilitate sound decision making for a sustainable future for the estuary.
Our vision is to ensure the most sustainable future for the Thames Estuary while balancing the needs of local people and the local environment.
Our mission is to maximise social, economic and environmental benefits for the Thames Estuary through working with all organisations and groups with an interest in the Thames. We achieve our mission by raising awareness of estuary issues, informing key decision makers, facilitating partnerships, developing and managing partnership projects and initiating research programs.
