Who we are

The community learning project offers support to children, young people, parents and carers who do not speak English at home as their main language of communication, by linking directly with schools, local authorities and communities.

Participants are encouraged to develop as role models and to share their experiences by volunteering and training to teach as 'tutors' or 'tutor assistants' on the project.

Our goal is to offer an environment where cultural, linguistic and religious assumptions are not judged and parents and carers may feel more confident about their children's future in the UK while taking on volunteer roles or studying to improve their skills.
