About us
Who we are
Sutton Mental Health Foundation is an independent local charity operating mainly in the London Borough of Sutton. It has three main areas of activity:
- Sutton Connect - a drop-in centre offering social contact, learning opportunities and support in a safe and welcoming environment to people recovering from severe mental distress
- Intentional peer support - face to face support provided by trained peer support workers who have direct experience of mental distress
- supporting the Sutton 1in4 Network - a community organization that enables communication between people who use mental health services in Sutton and the organizations responsible for commissioning and providing mental health care and services

A community in Sutton which values mental wellbeing and understands how to respond positively to anxiety and distress.
