Our Developing Vision

We want to share our faith in Jesus Christ as Lord through our worship of him, through serving our community in his name and by sharing his love.  Our vision for SHMC is to become a vibrant Christian centre for sharing, caring, welcome and worship in Surbiton - working in partnership with other churches and community groups.  

We are blessed with a large and prominent building with worship and community facilities, and we have an outdoor sports site!  This heritage is a wonderful platform from which our church can be renewed into a significant centre for community life and spiritual care. We don’t own these resources – we are the stewards of these gifts and we are called to see that they are used in every possible way to the glory of God and in the service of our community.
