Who we are

At Step and Stone, it is our mission to ensure people with learning disabilities live in an inclusive world that is free from prejudices and enjoy equal opportunities in the workplace and beyond.  

We work with around 50 young adults with a learning disability every week - finding out what their aspirations are, building on their strengths in a fun, supportive environment. We're a real place of work, so the whole team mucks in and helps produce our award-winning lavosh. But we make sure we're teaching real work-place skills on the way. When one of our young adults is ready, we help find them a job, support them with whatever they need and stay in touch with them and their employer to help things go smoothly. We also organise some really fun social events as nobody likes feeling lonely!
