Who we are

Restore & preserve the Steam Tug 'Brent' of 1945, as an example of London's dockland heritage & to sail her in U.K & European waters.

Brent is based for public view on the waterfront at Maldon Essex. As a museum ship she is open to the public 10 -16 times a year. Currently a static exhibit, the trustees and a group of volunteers are restoring her to enable her to steam again.

We have a Friends of Steam Tug Brent.
