About us
Who we are
Our aim is to improve the quality of life for children and adults with special educational needs and/or disabilities plus their families, across Hull and East Yorkshire. We achieve this by providing a diverse calendar of inclusive and accessible social and creative learning activities in which people of all ages and abilities can participate e.g. craft sessions, hydrotherapy, dance, science fun. Alongside this we offer a range of training, advice and support opportunities for parent carers plus a sensory room, specialist equipment lending library and a heavily subsidised shop which stocks a range of sensory toys, learning resources and disability specific equipment. Our sensory room is open to anyone.
We work collaboratively with various organisations, health groups and local community groups to meet the needs of our service users to the best of our abilities. We also offer support and guidance to local event organisers around accessibility and inclusion.
