Special Needs and Parent Support (SNAPS)

Who we are

SNAPS exists to support children with additional needs and their families.  We are based in Leeds but families travel from across Yorkshire to access our services.  We offer hydrotherapy, rebound therapy, swimming, arts and crafts, games, football, dance and drama.  Our sessions welcome the whole family and allow families to enjoy fun times together and meet other people in a similar position.  We have recently launched a new Family Support Project and have plans to open a new site in the coming years.

The staff team is a warm, dedicated, passionate and fun group of people who support each other to achieve the charity's aims.  As an organisation, we aim to support our staff and volunteer team to develop and achieve their own personal goals as well as those of SNAPS.  The management team  gives individuals the chance to manage their own workload without micromanagement whilst also being available for support as needed and to allow staff members to be creative within their objectives.  Working hours are fleixible to suit each individual's other commitments and to ensure our staff team are happy and have a well balanced work life balance.
