Who we are
Our mission is as relevant now as it has ever been – and the newly launched Sea Cadet Impact Report goes a long way to show it! Whether delivering life-long learning to seafarers so they can continue their vital work in the maritime industry or providing opportunities to help young people to achieve their full potential, we’re reaching further than ever before. Together with our incredible volunteers we transform the lives of over 14,000 cadets and countless seafarers each year. Many of the plans we have for the year ahead involve the continued modernisation of our charity, whether training, facilities, equipment or digital tools. As well as delivering a better service and supporting our volunteers, our aim is to reach more beneficiaries than ever before, allowing us to create a life-long positive impact for seafarers and young people alike.
