Who we are
The Charity supports the religious, educational, care and other charitable work of the Congregation of the Sisters of Nazareth (‘the Congregation’) across the world. The Sisters of Nazareth was founded by Victoire Larmenier, and recognised by the Vatican in 1864.
Many of the Congregation’s ministries take place within Nazareth Houses, which are – more... substantial buildings now operated mainly as care homes for frail older people. The Congregation owns and operates 36 such Houses across its five Regions – American, Australasian, Irish, Southern African and U.K.
