Who we are

Rated as one of the world’s most effective animal protection organizations by Animal Charity Evaluators, Sinergia Animal is an international campaigning organization working in countries from the Global South (South America and Southeast Asia) to reduce animal suffering and promote more compassionate and plant-based food choices. We use negotiation, investigations, peaceful direct actions and innovative campaigning methods to expose the suffering of animals on factory farms. The goal is to persuade major food corporations to adopt and implement policies to phase out the use of animal products which originate from the worst forms of animal production systems, with a focus on intensive confinement practices. We also work with public institutions to help them reduce their purchases of animal products. Finally, we carry out consumer campaigns to help people adopt plant-based diets.
