Who we are
Shout is a 24/7 UK mental health support text service. By texting ‘85258’ a texter will be put in touch with a trained volunteer. The service is designed to give people space to go from a hot moment to a cool calm. We aim to make a meaningful connection so our texters feel heard and understood.
Our culture and values
Our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. They’re incredible people who have taken more than 3 million conversations with 950,000 texters who are anxious, lonely or suicidal and who need urgent support. We recruit volunteers throughout the year, and we’d love you to join our team.
